The 1 and 2 bedroom apartments are built to a high standard in the typical old-style Portuguese / Mediterranean way and have splendid views looking down into the Ribeira, Sao Francisco Bay with the beautiful, large and white sandy beach.

The complex comprises ground floor, first floor and second floor apartments and is part of a multi-phase development, with golf course, shops, restaurants, marina, etc. Air and sea temperatures are normally 3 degrees warmer than the Canaries with sunshine levels of 10 to 12 hours per day. The international airport is some 6miles away and linked with a new national road development. If you are familiar with flying to the Canaries, then Santiago's capital, Praia is an additional 1 hour flying time.

The apartment overlooks the communal swimming pool and being on top floor has no noisy neighbours upstairs. It is quietly situated and there will be many shops, bars and restaurants (tavernas) located a short walk from the complex as is the marina area and the lovely white sandy beach.

Within the apartment it has the usual furnitures and fixtures and also the following items:

* Hair Dryer and tongs
* Ironing Board & Iron
* Step Stool
* Sun Canopy and Pole for beach use
* Cool Bag
* Bread Toaster
* Sandwich Maker / Toaster
* Electric Kettle
* Safe lock box for valuables
* Remote TV with Satellite connection to world-wide channels
* CD Hi-Fi Radio player and DVD player

The kitchenette off the living room has an electric hob, oven, fridge/freezer, sink, etc and the usual range of kitchen appliances/gadgets, etc.

Both the bedroom and living room have 3 speed pull cord "coolie" fans with lights. Separate pull cords for fan or light or both.

The apartment is provided with a change of bed linen and towels each week and these are exchanged, normally after each week, dependent on duration of stay. General cleaning and tidiness is the responsibility of the apartment visitors. Apartment shall be cleaned and ready for next visitors upon your departure, by the cleaners. The apartment has two bath towels and one hand towel per person per week. I suggest that you take with you adequate towels as being hot, showering, pool, beach has much need and towels are used more, than unused clothes taken with you!!

The apartment has double security locked from entrance door and requires two full turns and a quarter turn to open, anti-clockwise. The balcony doors from the living room have a separate key inside which remains in position. Door and safe lock box keys are issued in the UK in SAE (jiffy bag) by postal service.

Upon arrival at Praia airport simply collect your suitcases / belongings and take a taxi or shuttle bus which is approximately 15 mins. or 6 miles. A location map of Sambala and places to visit/see are marked on a map sheet and issued with the keys by me in the UK.


Flights are available from UK to Santiago Airport in late 2010, and details / timings etc are still to be provided by the developer.
